I do my apologize for this super late post. I was very busy these days. Too many things to do that needed my energies and times, but I had only small capacity of energies and times. Sigh.
I still need more time to blog walk and haven't done all of that yet. I'm very sorry. So, I haven't decided who's gonna be the winner yet.
I'm preparing for the Master Post of 2014 Books in English Reading Challenge too, in a new format.
Here is my 2013 Books in English Reading Challenge recap:
#2 The Casual Vacancy - J.K Rowling
#3 Fifty Shades Darker – E.L James
#4 Breaking Dawn – Stephenie Meyer
#5 The Vast Field – Nick Burd
#6 For One More Day – Mitch Albom
#7 Lola and The Boy Next Door – Stephanie Perkins
#8 I’ve Got Your Number – Sophie Kinsella
#9 The Jungle Book – Rudyard Kipling (passed)
#11 The Book Thief – Markus Zusack
#12 City of Bones, The Mortal Instruments #1 – Cassandra Clare
#13 Something Borrowed – Emily Giffin
#15 Falling For You – Jill Mansell
I didn't read all the books as I planned. I only read 5 books from 17 books I planned in Master Post. As I said in advance, things would be happened through the year, so you don't have to be sticked to the rule or plan you've made. You can change your mind on the way :D
But to gain 12 books as I targeted, I read other books because I was interested on the blurbs or others' review. They are:
Wonder - R. J. Palacio (passed)
Eleanor and Park - Rainbow Rowell (passed)
Norwegian Wood - Haruki Murakami (passed)
More Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops (passed)
Mr. Penumbra's 24 Hours Bookstore - Robin Sloan (passed)
First Term at Malory Tower - Enid Blyton (passed)
Sugar Rush - Donna Kauffman (passed)
8. One Amazing Thing - Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni (passed but I haven't written review yet)
9. There's a Wocket in My Pocket - Dr. Seuss (but it can't be counted in my 2013 Books in English RC, of course :D)
I totally read only 13 English books then. Hahahaha... I passed it but it's still didn't reach my total goal :D
I really enjoy this challenge and the new challenge will go on.
What about you? I'm waiting for your story. Put your recap post on the link below. I also hope that you'd tell me about how you feel when you join this challenge. If you have any suggestions, please let me know... I will open the link until 27th February 2014.
Thank you so much for joining my 2013 Books in English Reading Challenge. I love you all and see you in the 2014 Books in English Reading Challenge...
Love and Peace,
